The InvisiArma antibacterial and anti-fog coating was developed by Mianlilong (Hong Kong) Co., Ltd. and Yutian New Technology Co., Ltd., and assisted in commercialization by the Chinese Manufacturers Association. The formula combines the antibacterial and anti-fog functions of chelated platinum ions. The coating has been certified to kill more than 99.9999% of E. coli, Staphylococcus aureus, etc., and has obtained ASTM E2180 and ISO22196 certification.

The coating can be applied to anti-epidemic products, including transparent masks, protective masks and placemats; food packaging such as fruit boxes and takeaway boxes, as well as pharmaceutical packaging, injections, surgical equipment and other packaging. Among them, transparent masks are expected to be launched in March and are expected to sell for 20 yuan each.

Liang Sijing, director of biotechnology of Yutian New Technology Co., Ltd., said that transparent masks are non-medical masks and are not recommended for use in high-risk places, such as hospitals. He explained that transparent masks are different from surgical masks that filter out droplets to prevent virus transmission, but protect users by actively sterilizing them. He said that one-time use is recommended on the packaging, but as long as the mask is not wiped with paper towels, the coating will basically not be damaged.
